[quote="Garry Coleman":2f769]reality on BF sucks left testicle! Man it is sooo horrible. I try to shoot people with a BAR and you don't even know if you are hitting the person. Also, the sounds are the worst i ever heard in a PC game!
The pistols sound like "pea shooters" or "bee-bee guns". The sniping is terrible since you can't shoot someone that is directly in your scope since it is "too far out of the range". You have to shoot someone like 4 times with the sniper to kill them. Come on, if you look in the maps, mods, n skins section of the forums you can see for yourself that vehicles are being added to the game without the SDK! What do you think will happen WITH the SDK? We have been brain storming in the forums on what to make--- trains, NASCAR, bulldozers, trucks, cars, jeeps, etc. Vehicles will be apart of the game if it IS OR ISN'T included in Spearhead. I don't even know what else to say about the damn bf1942. It is sooo, blah![/quote:2f769] Are you saying its realistic for light machine guns to become sniper rifles? Id take bf-1942 over mohaa anyday. At least i know i won't be getting sniped from 6 miles away by some gheyzor who only uses a machine gun round after round and fuck all else. The sounds aren't great but theyre not bad, they do the job anyway. As for the sdk, yeah ea may release it ...when hell freezes over. |
machinegun in mohaa is better than the ones in bf1942 . iot just acts more relistic then the ones in bf1942. the machine gun in mohaa is suppose to be that accurate unless ur shooting full auto.

20 hits from a BAR....hmmm...i would think that a BAR would have the same caliber bullet of a plane machine gun (however i could be gravely mistaken) or close to it. therefore its not as unrealistic as you think. also, people who say you can unload clips into people and nothing happens...need to get used to the damage systems and bullet ballistics. generally, with the bar i kill in about five hits...with the thompson about 6 or 7. [/quote:cf87f] the machine gun in BF1942 is quite easy to use, actually, if you lead your target. and also, the machine gun in mohaa is dead accurate at full auto. the game has no fucking recoil for christ sakes. |
Same caliber as a planes machinegun biggrin: , a BAR the last time I checked does not fire .50 cal's
|
I think there is only one explanation for this. There are two types of people
More hands on people and more tacticle-team people It is just a prefrence of gamestyle that decides the game of choice. I am a MOHAA person and I always will be. I respect the people that like bf1942 since it is just another style of gameplay. Comparing MOHAA and BF1942 is like comparing a Bike and an Egg-McMuffin! |

yeah...i figured :) although...i wasnt completely sure of what caliber planes fired. i figured it varied from plane to plane. but still...20 shots from a bar is going to do some damage to a plane...correct? |

most american (if not all) fired the .50 although i seem to vaguely remember the P-38 having something different.
