Dude, you can spend your whole life trying to win you parents acceptance, might as well get some cash money and get laid (the latter wouldn't work too well with you). As to thisday my mother hates my guts and could care less about what I do (and vice versa). Luckily, I patched things up withm y dad before he died.

I mean this both ways, parents and kids should both respect each other and be close to each other.
Butters' mom is definitely making a mistake, one never knows when one may need help, and usually the family are the first people one can count on, unless one fucks up one's relationship with their family.
