It is kinda sad that they take any critizism of americas actions and the way the media portrays this kind of stuff as being like an enemy of the country.

"You are either with us or against us"

Old Reliable 03-20-2003 11:48 PM

i dont buy into any of that shit. 911 has an even worse effect on people, if you try and represent a different view you should be publicly hanged

newbieassulted 03-20-2003 11:52 PM

if i have freedom of speech, i think im gunna go find Mr bush and say "fuck you bitch"

hmm, wonder what they would do.... i always wanted to try that

03-21-2003 12:44 AM

how can this war be unjust? by killing sadamn we are helping them.

Judas 03-21-2003 02:05 AM

does anyone else find it strange that we can view war on tv ?

03-21-2003 02:35 AM

If there is gonna be another terrorist attack lets hope its CNN.

Harlen Maguire 03-21-2003 04:25 AM

LOW SPARK! HOLY FLURKING SHNIT! YOU ARE MY GOD!!! :)

Ydiss 03-21-2003 05:49 AM

Low Spark, I do believe you are the only anti-war American on this website. It's a shame, really.

Sad thing is you will be called exactly that by your own countrymen (countrykids?) but I'm sure, by your words, that you have the temerity to ignore it for what it is.

Is it a coincidence that most Americans are pro-war and yet the vast majority of the allied world aren't?

It's a strange state of afairs.

You're right about progaganda news spreads, though.

You should see the crap that the most popular tabloid here in the UK spouts every day about the MOAB and how powerful the British and American forces are and how they will squash the iraqi resistance.

They also harp on about how the British troops worst fear is friendly fire from the Americans.

It's so much drivel it's cloying.

03-21-2003 06:16 AM

Wow. Some of you guys are realling buying into this oppositional stuff agains the US. It's like you guys are paranoid: "Oh, this must be bad, look what the US is doing!"

"Iraq can't have water because of the sanctions."

And the Kurds can't have freedom because of Saddam; the people are killed, and more could with the WMDs that Saddam possesses

Also, I am positive that getting the Iraqi people some clean water will be one of the first things that we do after Saddam is taken from power. You make it seem as if we are purposefully trying to make the Iraqi people suffer, but it is quite the contrary, we are trying to free them.

I was listening to the radio just the other day and they had an Iraqi man who had emigrated to America. He said he was extremely happy and that he had fulfilled the dream of many Iraqis back home and that the rest of his family was dying to come over to get away from Saddam. He says that liberation is what the Iraqi people dream of. And this guy was soooooo happy, and he was a pizza delivery man. Shows how much better our country is than Iraq, if a guy can be happier than ever as a pizza man, because he has freedom and liberty.

A HUNGRY FATMAN 03-21-2003 07:30 AM

we are not tyring to free the iraqi people Bush could give a fuck about them what were after is the iraqi oil fealds. this way the US has a back up source of oil if veniswla stops selling oil again or eygpt stop like there threating to do. And all is going smothly right now but what happens when the power strugle begins after sadam dies. What happens the Arib* states arownd iraq see the pictures of the dead kidds, old people, and young men and women? they will yeall at the US for it! they will also thank him for removing sadam. and what of the rebuilding what will come of that?

You are talking about the osprey. It was supposed to replace teh type of helocopter that went down, but it has been delayed repeatedly for saftey problems. The entire progam was about to be scrapped at one point because of all the accidents. I am sorry for the familys of the men that went down, but accidents happen. They say the sand their is very fine and gets into everything. Guns have to be stripped and cleaned twice a day. maintenenace schedules on anything mechanical need to be doubled.

A HUNGRY FATMAN 03-21-2003 07:44 AM

bush dosnt care about the iraqi people he cares about the oil he needs a new secure sorce because veniswala* is not a dependable sorce anymore

A HUNGRY FATMAN 03-21-2003 07:46 AM

sorry for posting the same thing twise i didnt see my post didnt think it when thru

jdogsmooooth 03-21-2003 07:59 AM

liberation?

as many don't know the liberation of the Iraqi is secondary to the mass amount of over seas profit the US will receive. The war is being funded at the expence of the tax payers and don't forget the money needed to rebuild the country. I hear people joyfully saying were going to bomb them into the stoneage; for one reason, to rebuild the whole damn country. What do you think is going to come out of killing these people, more terrorist attacks and new terrorists. The war the angry middle easterns fight is a new aged war, not a country but a organization of terrorists in the middle east and around the world. To eliminate such a threat our gov. must defeat them as a hole but even doing this will cause more comotion. Because as Einstein said Peace can not be kept by force but through understanding.

Simo Häyhä 03-21-2003 08:03 AM

4 american and 8 brittish killed in helicopter crash

the city of basrah has been captured

-fox news-

A HUNGRY FATMAN 03-21-2003 08:05 AM

you do have some points there about peace and force and all that but by even tuching iraq we open the posoblity of fanatics attaking the US and other allies also of them setting oil wells on fire

Why? Is there an oil shortage? No? Would iraq be outside of opec? No? Hmmmm......your arguement makes no sense.

The US has huge amounts of untapped oil deposits. We just dont want to drill off our beaches or in our national parks. Its better off in the ground. At least for now.

jdogsmooooth 03-21-2003 08:12 AM

Seen that particular spelling mistake a few times on these boards.

Although I still fail to see the argument, hehe, sorry Mr HFM. biggrin:

There was a report out last week saying that the Administration had bought up huge amounts of oil over the past few amount causing the price to be inflated by as much as $10 a barrel.

Zoner 03-21-2003 10:10 AM
