guys that's why we are not releasing those models!! it was like a test...we just tested if we can make and add new weapons into MOHAA...nobody said anything about releasing it to the plubic!!

Why show off a weapon and gloat about it if you will not release it? MOH is in sad enough shape, we need all the new stuff we can get! I know I haven't released the smoke grenades or the dynamite, but I plan on doing that shortly. No time for TC's at this point, just release anything new that you can. Keep the game going!

i think you should release one or two with the authors permission, espcially the luger and mauser. they are too sweet to simpliy say it was a "test". In my opinion i do not want to hear about things that wont be released. And I also think we are not getting the full story here. But, then again its your desision, and my opinion. eek:

yeah track down the authors and ask premission as one modder to another im sure they wouldnt mind if any 2 i would choose teh M1 carbine and the luger. if the others are just imported from HL or CS then just use it anyway

Asking permission is considered good and mature etiquete. You don't have to do it.

Just think how you'd feel if you'd spent a lot of time working on something only to have someone else come along and use it and claim credit for it.

You'd feel ripped.

Ok, so you didn't categorically state that the skins and models were created by yourself, but you didn't state that they weren't either. You had lots of oportunities to do so.

At any rate, I couldn't care less about these mods because they are purely cosmetic and wouldn't change MoH enough to be worth bothering with.

The only thing about this thread that got me was it was very evident that no effort at all was made to give credit to the original makers (you quite happily soaked up credit until it was pointed out).

You also did not deny the release of it (despite many oportunities to do so) until, again, the origin of the models and skins was disclosed.

I couldn't give two shits where you got them from and I am not a bloody lawyer so I don't care about legal ramifications, as I'm sure very few people here do.

But you just can't go around saying you made something when you didn't. And on more than one occasion in this thread I saw the words "I made".

It should just have been stated that "you imported". Big difference.

If it is your own work then say so, if it isn't then say so.

What is so difficult about that?

everyone already knew you could get new guns in aa, so how was testing these just to show people that its possible? ive got about 6 new guns ingame, there was that molotov from the 1936 mod, and the FG42.
