Meh, its up to you. If you have a top of the line PC and you want to have a better counter strike experience, go for it. Also most of the hot head players don't play it so there isn't as much whining.

its true about the hotheads...the servers are pretty quiet..its quite nice happy:

if HalfLife 2 doesnt have the in game interaction like the E3 video's, then the game will be a complete flop!

but if it does? then it just might be a good game

Fuck it! I think I'll buy it because a) I gave up on CS far too quickly when I tried it years ago, and I would like to have another shot at it, and b) I'd like to chuff about with the CS:Source demo when it comes out.

They have some videos on fileshack and it looks pretty impresive but why didnt they change the sounds. There all exactly the same.

The reason the sounds are the same is beacuse all the weapons in cs have a distinctive sound people know. Start fucking with the sounds and the "pro" community would have even more excuse to cry.

Heh, I remembered replacing the sounds of the silenced weapon with the loudest sounds I could find.

I used an aimbot and a ballhack all the time. It worked for like 8months and then i got banned from steam oOo:

aimbots are for the nub hackers. (We call them script pussies).

meh, it still got people really pissed happy:

once on assault, i was CT and i had the schmidt i went on the bridge and jumped down to that little area with the fences and just crouched shot 5 times, got fice headshots and everyone was getting so angry it was hilarious. But thats only when i fuck around. When i wanted to play a serious game id turn them off.

I've yet to hacked on steam yet. Just haven't had the urge, + its almost to damn easy on CS, with shooting threw smalls walls and objects and what not.
