Well...these are God-fearing Men...They believe humans deserve the Earth and the rest of the species are our bitches...even though we are all part of the same class of animaphilia or whatever the word spells out to be.

Anyways...I don't see a point why we are allowed to overpopulate but Dear aren't.

You and swill should never post again.

Pyro: If a man kills a man, he gets the death penalty..notice the irony? It is illegal for a man to kill another, but the government can kill a man legally. Care to explain that for me?

Judas 09-30-2005 04:26 PM

not at even remotely related.

hunting = killing for sport.

eating = survival.

ive never went bow hunting, I doubt I will......and I dont know if I can go gun hunting this year cause of my surgery....

Judas 09-30-2005 05:05 PM

and you have to hunt for what reason even remotely related to anything at all ? you sure as fuk dont have to hunt to survive.

you may or may not have to have meat to survive, but its there so that you can if you need / wish to. some cultures might rely on meat, if vegetalbes arent readily availabe. who can say that there will always be enough vege to feed every person.

eating meat doesnt equal eating for sport. when i have a steak i dont purposely hunt down a cow, quite cowardly i might add , sportingly. im not hunting the cow for fun/ trophy. and thinking well shit, i ve killed this creature , and in order for me to appear less murderous, ill also save the meat.

hunters kill for no other reason. all they are after is the trophy. i on the other hand eat a animal because i am hungry. i dont hide in a tree, a thicket of bushes, adorned with the animals scent, kill, and parade around town like a fuking idiot, celebrating a murder.

hunting serves no purpose, no purpose at all. it fulfills no human NEED.

ive said it over and over. if you need the animal to live; if your life hangs in the balance over the death of the creature, by all means kill it. if you are out in the woods for no other purpose than to take the life of another living thing simply so you can brang to the other toothless fukwads about your 10 point buck, you yourself should be shot.

Pyro 09-30-2005 05:08 PM

These arguments about eating meat and eating vegatables compared to hunting for sport and eating for survival are invalid.

MEat is good for the body in a sense...like if you're vegan you're missing certain things meat gives you...

hunting has no benefit besides the fact you get to ejaculate in your pants as you kill another helpless animal for your own glory.

Apparently it's OK to eat it ... if someone raised it in a barn, sliced it's throat in a farm environment, and then sells it to you in grocery store.

sarcasm doesnt really support your position on hunting.

i never said it was ok, only that its fulfill one of my basic human needs. without the farming and harvesting of food, i wouldnt be living. hunting is just KILLING for the sake of killing. nothing more.

i find it lol that none of you hunter types can give me one good reason for doing what your doing. i havent seen anything.

I seem to remember a few.

[quote="Sgt>Stackem":af7c1]last year we didnt have to buy meat from Oct thru January. That saves a ton of money[/quote:af7c1]

Here's another one.

You know they've been eating shrubs and wild grasses, not genetically modified feed and steroids. annoy:

There were others but I'm too tired to go back and quote them. If you don't want to hunt, and even if you want to express your views on it, that's OK with me. I enjoy hunting. I enjoy the quiet in the woods. And although I have as much fun when I go hunting and never even fire the gun, I love the feeling of putting my own food on the table versus just going to the supermarket and getting it. I also have a Victory garden to grow my own veggies. I never shoot anything that I don't eat. I've never stuffed anything to hang on my wall, but that's a personal preference, probably due to the fact that I shoot for food and I'm more of a rabbit and squirrel guy.

Coleman 09-30-2005 08:52 PM

I want to hunt squirrel with a sawed-off shotgun.

KTOG 09-30-2005 09:53 PM

Lets just feast on my cok

pest 09-30-2005 11:47 PM

This is silly.

I hunt because I like to hunt. Meat is great, but cow flesh is cheaper at the grocery anyway.

I like to pull the trigger. I like seeing a deer drop dead in its tracks at 100 yards. Wadding a duck up into a ball of feathers as he is buzzing the decoys almost gives me a woody. I cant think of many more satisfying things than calling a big old tom to within 20 yards. I am thinking of getting in on gator hunting next year too. How can anything that involves harpoons, bangsticks, boats and darkness be bad? I hunt legally, safely and ethically.

If you dont like it, thats your choice. I make no apologies, and offer no justifications. But I do feel hunters share a much closer bond with nature and have a much better understanging of its creatures than those that claim to be its champions.

The problem with society today, is that most people have been off the farm too long.

So you appreciate nature by killing its inhabitants? I see.... oOo:

Thats an emotional arguement on a subject that has no negative ethical or moral implications to me. I only kill what I am hunting for. I am much more discriminating and much less effiecent than nature itself.

I like the pics though.

You'd be an even bigger man if you wrestled the alligator to death. Any fool can pull a trigger.

I already told you. Its about my entertainment, meat, and in the case of gators, the hides bring good money. I am not proving anything to anyone, I am doing something I love.

I could give you a line about how the hunts are open because of over population and crowding in increasingly urban areas, but my heart just isnt in it.

Old Reliable 10-02-2005 01:22 AM

meh, whatever, kill the deer around here but im not too suare about bear hunting up north, wtf. id rather have someone make some venison stew than to have the guy in my grille!
