I dunno if its just me, but I hate not having CD's. Like the iTunes thing, I just dont buy from them b/c me dad resets the PC every year (or whenever he feels like it) and I'd lose all my song. I mean, waste of a couple hundred bucks right there. Same goes for downloading games and stuff.

Never was talking about you guys, just the whole trend with Itunes taking over CD's as the way people get music (read that from surveys, anyway)

...you're supposed to back-up your files when you reformat your pc.....

Still, still, I'd just rather have an actual CD in hand in case my computer blows up to shit or whatever. I know you can do that stuff, I just felt sorry for all these guys with ipods who download a billion songs then lose them in an instant.

All my CD's are scratchless, I use them literally once... just upload them onto the computer and put them in my little shuffle thing. I just keep them around as decoration and backup.

i know what you mean duffy, I like to have the CD there just in case as a physical backup.

as for the file lose thing. Last time I formatted I basically dumped all my music, and important files.... biggrin: on the school server, reformatted got them back and deleted the files off the server. I like having the ability to do that. It means I never have to have anything in hand.
