correct.. I go frame by frame and take the image in then you have to reduce the quality, when I made that crispin glover dance the gif was like 30 megs ed:

I dont I use WinDVD to capture the images then use fireworks to create the gif.

i use "Gif Movie Gear" to make gif files...real easy.

yep, you might have to 'look' for a code to unlock some 'special features' if you know what i mean. But it's good. The only bad thing is you can only take clips from avi files i believe.
