i hate GS it restarts my computer every time i use it so i dont bother,

There is spyware in GS. While visiting my folks I went to install MOHAA and it also installed GS. My step father, a systems and network administator was quite unhappy when he started up his machine later and after running his systems normal security scans he found a spyware alert. It was GS that was the culprit.
Yes its $30 for ASE. But if you are an admin you can appreciate the ASE, you have rcon control with out having to log into the game. But also the server information actually lists the available public slots. GS shows the total of slots regardless of how many are pvt. Oh and for those who don't pay for ASE you don't have anoying pop up ads. Also the filtering system is much better in ASE. You have seperate folders for your favorites. ASE may not be the prettiest looking interface, but its alot more reliable and easy to use.

well i, like most of you, love all seeing eye and feel like a real fool for paying for gamespy back in the day... for life (*sigh*) anyways, i rigged ase to do the demo by simply changing the "mohaa" exe to the sh dmeo one and choosing a server running malta or druck... worked like a charm. but for full retail, i had issues. then one of my friends who plays ladders and shit tossed me a link to this thread @ TWL. thanx to Matrf2 for bringing it to their attention, YOU CAN USE ALL SEEING EYE FOR SPEARHEAD SERVERS. here is the link, http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/showt ... adid=24935 - enjoy all. :)

Ever since GSI practically abandoned Gamespy 3d, I lost much hope in them. They they dumped the Planetunreal forums, quite possibly the best forums on the entire internet, and replaced the top-notch vBulletin software with their sh*tty forumplanet. So we left and started beyondunreal.com , and I still bear a grudge with them to this date.

Oh yeah... and ASE 0wnz.

Look at the thread i posted and im going to say this. We are wasting our time sending EA a petition and with these polls. EA wnats everyone to use GS and there will never be ASE for SH EVER!
