Scottish, Irish and French are the most prominent.
I also have Swiss, Italian and American in me. But of my Dads side, i'm like 10th generation Canadian, so to find the European stuff you have to go back to the 1600's. I pretty much call myself Canadian though. |

Well sorrrrry I did'nt know it was such a big fucking deal, English then. And yes I do know that Scotland is part of Great Britain, Alot of the time the English are called Brits, or British.[/quote:ccc96] its not BIG fucking deal, but it is a deal and its fucking so its there. And anyway thats exactly my point, the English are refered to as brits or british, and it mostly seems to be by the americans. "The british are coming!" springs to mind. but the irish welsh and scots were busy farming while the english were in one of their "lets expand the empire again" moods. Brits and british is the irish welsh scots and english together. united as Great Britian (though its really not that great) Should be renamed OK Britian. |

Might have to rent that out for a laugh. What gets me is they still call it "great britain" wtf is so great about it these days? Sure when they owned most of the world thay had bragging rights but now? oOo: |
the great part is to tell those of you that have any kind of geographical back ground that the title refers in fact to 2 islands and not just one otherwise it would be britain

Well there was a program on a few weeks back debating why it should still be called "great britain" or not anymore. They basically said theres nothing great about it anymore so drop the name already. |
