As far as I am concerned, anyone copywriting, attempting to copyright, or falsely claiming to copywrite their mods are idiots.
None of us are getting rich from this. This is a game. We do it for fun. If you think that copywriting anything will somehow land you that big modelling job at EA, you're wrong.

People stole your code or models? People are claiming that your work is really theirs?
Who gives a shit? Ask yourself why you want the credit anyway. Does it really get you high to be idolized by a bunch of online buddies?
If you lose sleep at night over this (and it appears some are), you may have a problem. See a shrink immediately.

I love it when people like ^this^ try to act like the shit. Trust me, I've been around the block. I've seen people sue eachother over this, I think people care.

I am sure people do sue over this. I am sure people take it very seriously, and I am sure people get upset.

I'm also sure most people do this for fun. At least that's the way it started anyway. It IS supposed to BE fun. The two guys in court fighting over who is "top nerd" probably aren't enjoying themselves anymore. At some point, they got a little carried away. How can you not agree with that?

I really don't think these dod people stay up 'til the wee hours of the night modelling, skinning and compiling their works just so some dick can convert it for a different game and call it their own. I feel like a broken record trying to explain this to you. With normal, mature people I usually explain it once and they'd get it. I know how much work get put into this stuff, people have spent weeks on one model.

I'm not looking to be, "idolized," by anyone, I'm looking for my stuff not to be stolen and have someone else take the credit.
