I use this, which is a nice compromise: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/prodde ... ewdeptid=2

Sony earbuds for the most part are CRAP though.

yes they do actually. I even moved my head all around violently and they stayed in. They use suction to stay pretty secure. I couldn't even notice them in my ear after a few minutes which was pretty amazing.

yeah those ones looks pretty ok ... the ones i have are starting to make my ears hurt ... i like how those look like they just fit right into your earhole.

i think my friend has them. I'll ask him to test them out. Yeah, you're right about how they look pretty comfy.

I tried them out today and I absolutely love them. THey are verrrrrry comfy and are really good with cancelling outside sound. rock:

they look it ... i cant see paying 50 bucks for headphones tho ... heres a pair by koss with the same design :

i really trust sony for the most part. I've never owned anything by KOSS so I'd definately have to test those out before I bought them. (even though you could probably buy them and return them if they suck)

I don't know which ones to get.

Those sony sound-canceling ones I used had a cord extension on it that made it long as hell. But without the extension, the cord is only long enough to put in a breast pocket or something.

I'm leaning towards these:

the other cheaper pair:

With the extension, you'd have to keep a twist tie on hand to keep the wire organized due to its length.

So I just bought the cheaper one from ecost.com for $24.99 with overnight shipping which will be atleast $10 cheaper than if I got it from BestBuy at the store.

All lowend stuff will be about the same sounding. You get what you pay for. Koss and Sony are a joke when it comes to audio.

dunno about koss, but the sony ones arent quite as loud as the ones that came with the player ... i think its the design tho. seems like the are designed to get the most bass.

they work for me tho ... comfort was more important than sound when i was looking ... the creative ones had my ears hurting like fuk.

yep, couldn't say it better myself.

I didn't want the best sounding ones. I needed something very comfortable and small. I wasn't about to spend $80 on a headset that I can't fit in my pocket since I paid money to get a small/tiny mp3 player.
