I always though the dustbuster comparrison was exagerrated, not anymore. ed:

Not quite. 5800 was the dust buster pos that was supposed to answer the 9700/9800. Production was stopped a few weeks later and there was nothing for a while. Then they released the 5900 which was a step in the right direction but still a POS. The 5700 came out later in game when the 9600XTs came out.

Gotta love the 5800s. They are a collectors item now.

Have you seen the video that nvidia made making fun of their own card? They attached the 5800 to like leaf blowers and hair driers and stuff.

Yeha they had it on a barbecue as well, was some other part in the vid with some guy being blown away from his pc. biggrin:
