The kicker Kelly is actually really really good. He was a kicker for one of the highschools in my area and he f'ing owned. He made 50 yarders. I felt really bad after he missed those two. The first one was a shitty snap. The second one, he simply just fucked up.

If we would have lost, I wouldn't be suprised if he got death threats in the mail. Luckily for him, his life has been saved haha

Nyck, I thought it wouldn't even be close?!?!?! happy:

I didn't think it would be that close, but I was right. I think the factor I forgot was the ACC speed that FSU had and PSU didn't, i think that was an important thing that I overlooked.

I stand corrected. FSU destroyed itself at the end with those penalties wtf 1st and 25

I just don't like the whole idea of the bowl games being 30+ days after the final games of their regular season. It's almost like putting two different teams up against eachother. Same is going to go for the USC and Texas game.

Another factor was all of the damn injuries. Robinson fucking got nailed after every play. He wasn't throwing very well, so they knew PSU had to stick to a primary running game. THat way, FSU just stacked the front D-line and rushed every play. That made the big difference (and no Tony Hunt for block protection).

Nyck 01-04-2006 12:30 AM

well the problem is, many conference have conference championships after reg season. Big 10 doesnt.

I think it's pretty gay how PSU got matched up with #22. It should always be #1 and #2 at the Rose Bowl; #3 and #4 at the Orange bowl; etc.

Or just do playoffs (Don't ask how that would work, b/c i have no idea. it would be pretty cool though) biggrin:

after 1v2 its all about who will make the bowl the most money. More people will come from florida to the orange bowl which is in florida, than people from ohio state. Just like Iowa getting picked over michigan for the outback bowl, even though mich beat Iowa, because Iowa travels better than michigan, and guarenteed x amount of seats sold.

lol, yeah, they had tons of penalties, but they have had that problem all season, the guys down there seem undisciplined.

Ah well, Nebraska won and that's all that matters to me. Would have been nice for the 'Noles to smoke PSU for reruiting purposes but you can't win them all.

Good season PSU.

PS Jeff Bowden is easily one of the worst offensive coordinators in college football and field goal posts are Bobby Bowden's biggest fear.

TonyMontana 01-04-2006 06:00 PM

What's your predictions in tonight's game?

I say 42-38 USC
