They fill your lawn and are all over the trees. They're not annoying, now here's the nasty sucker

The worst part is they're blind so they crash into everything when they fly. What is it, every 13 years they come out in numbers?

lol. at least you dont have to worry about cicadas that much, birds love to eat them so much they over-eat and throw up because the gorge themselves too much. i love insects!

so thats why they are banging into the walls and shit, they come out in numbers every 13 years? every year they come out in numbers, but are only around for like a week or two

city life must be nice, no buggs at all, just the birds that shit every where biggrin:

come ou7t every 17 years here in NJ. They are the worst things you will ever see, because they swarm the place for a month or 2 ed:

I feel your pain man, spiders freak the shit outta me. However, remember that 'usually' in nature the smaller the animal/insect/etc. the more potent it's venom is likely to be. Which brings me to my point here. That huge ass spider hanging out in your toilet wasn't a Brown Recluse, here's the ugly little bastard up-close and personal:

Old Reliable 04-21-2003 10:13 PM

most spiders are OK by me, but the things that really get me are HUGE millipedes and HUGE moths

ah Jesus, at Mickey Owen Baseball Camp, i went there 2 summer's ago, and outside the cafeteria there, there was the huge foot long moth just sitting there, but it was dead. It was so weird, it camoflauged right into the sandy ground

i miss those cicadas, hope they'd show up more often, havent seen one in almost 3 years. they'd shed their shells on the trees

Old Reliable 04-21-2003 10:20 PM

hahahaa, i dont know what it is but just seeing a fuckin huge bug in my house scares the shit outta me. when I was a kid I found a praying mantis and caught it for a pet for a few days then released it, that is probably my favorite insect
