I use DC++, Newsgroups and Bit torrent.. all of which download much much faster... but are harder to use/find things on.

also most of the stuff on Ares is 128 and the cymbols in that make me cry in pain

i use Bittorrent/IRC for albums, and Ares and/or Winmx for singles
