I've received complaints that some people here are being stopped from voting, and some are being harassed as they try to vote. We need an independent enquiry.

Im waiting for someone to say...

"d00d, whatever, the internet has more repubs than dems!2334q"

Drew 10-18-2004 12:17 AM

You know, normally I would be very dismissive of an internet poll.

However, every single time this poll gets over 200,000 votes (they seem to reset it regularly), it is Bush 59% Kerry 41% and Nader 1% - I think the consistency there says something.

geRV 10-18-2004 12:19 AM

Maybe it was only setup for a certain amount of votes. Obviously its not representative of the whole of america, and they may not have expected so many votes on it.

Drew 10-18-2004 12:24 AM

I seriously think that polls like these are more accurate than Gallup polls. Gallup takes all this time to profile the people they call and try to get people who they feel are undecided, etc.

I could be perfectly wrong, but I wouldn't be suprised if they adjust their samples to make the race seem closer than it is. Think about it, everyone profits from it.

That and probably 7 out of 10 adults I've spoken with about the election are voting for Bush, if not more.

Same here man...I ask everyone I work with who they are voting for...over 3/4's of them say Bush, and the other quarter say "I'm not voting, they both suck!", or, "Kerry."
