OK, what about this:
Kenwood KAC-9152D 900W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms mono amp for 2 10" infinity subs 700W RMS http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKAC9152D and Kenwood KAC-8452 70W x 4 @ 14.4V for interior speakers. Question: Since front speakers are 4 ohm and rear are 2 ohm, can they go on this amp? PS: +10 to juju and short |
I haven't had any experience with a Kenwood amp in years (literally since my step dad bought one back in 98), juju would be better off giving you an opinion on them. They look solid from what I see... but you never know when dealing with the big name brands. JuJu would have the best opinion on this one. Do you plan on getting any sound deadening ? aka dynamat or foaming etc ?
|
yeah probably a dynamat for the trunk.
|
a wise investment, vibrations drive me nutz.
|
haha sorry for forgetting that link happy: I always do that...
But yeah those ones, also I dont have tons of experience myself with kenwood, I've installed them and from others reviews, they seem to do rated power, I wouldnt hesitate buying one if it fits the bill. |
Cool.
So can all the interior speakers be wired to that kenwood? (front 2 ohm, rear 4 ohm?) * Amplifier Type: Multi-Channel * RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 70W x 4 @ 14.4V * THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.08 % * Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 200W x 2 @ 14.4V * Speaker Level Inputs: Yes * Preamp Outputs: Yes * Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP * Bass Boost: 0 or 6 dB * Frequency Response: 10-30,000 Hz * Signal to Noise Ratio: 100 dB * Fuse Rating: 40 amps |

It always feels great to share the experience of car audio on to others. on another note here are some pics of my hu in action and my new CL 62's. beer:
