Virtual tennis was the sickest game on that thing

Dreamcast went down for a few specific reasons:
1. Sega were retarded and released addons for the genesis, mega cd and 32x and then dropped support for them not long after. 2. Saturn bombed pretty fast, again sega pretty much dropped support for it a couple of years into its life. Ea also dropped all support for the dreamcast because of sega pissing around. After the above people pretty much got fed up of buying consoles and sega fucking them over. The ad campagin for dreamcast was weird as well, showed nothing of games just some big swirly logo. Add to that sonys utter bullshit about the capabilities of the ps2, that it was capable of rendering 300 million polygons per second, that jurassic park realism of graphics would be in their games etc. People just sucked all that bullshit in and took it as fact, graphically the ps2 was pretty piss poor, the dreamcast did have an advantage in graphics, but devs went to sony beucase of the previos sega antics of console support. ps2 delivered on games but pretty much everything sony said about graphics was utter bullshit. |
ahh, yes, the Sega Saturn.

The problem with Nintendo is that as good as there games/systems are, they have the most horrific game-delays for all their best games. Eventually, it comes down to the point where every good game gets delayed at least a couple months or more, and by then people get really pissed at Nintendo, and start buying other systems. Unless Nintendo learns to stop this, then people might start considering them a contender. But because it won't, PS3>360>Wii.

Maybe Nintendo would prefer to make a delay in a games release over releasing one of their potentially best selling games early, and having the game look and feel like shit.

i could understand a one month delay or so, but in some cases, they would have the Zelda games delayed month after month till the point where almost a year had passed. I never cared for Zelda, but if that happened to a game I was really looking forward too, I would just stop caring. Honestly, look how many people still actually care about Duke Nukem Forever (aside from those who just want to play it due to it's ridiculous delay)?

People still care about Duke Nukem Forever? eek: I see what you mean.
