The date of the model was 2008-03-10 so its a brand new version of the console.
This is my choice, please help me decide: I can keep the disk and the console and -

the disc skimmers dont repair the 360 discs well enough as when we did them when i worked in gamestation it didnt make much difference as most the rings on the discs went into the data layer.
get the console repaired because if its done it once then it will do it again |

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Lately I've been thinking about snapping up a 360, but it's shit like 'The Miyagi Catastrophe' that puts me off splashing the cash.

the newer consoles are less likely to ring of death, and to avoid the ring scratch just play the 360 flat and your sorted. now get a 360 now so i can fellate you in a helicopter in gta. |

ok guyz, had the disk skimmed on the highest setting for like £3 (still has a small scratch but the guy at the game shop said I could get it redone for free if it doesn't work)
so the game seems to work fine now. My plan is to keep using the console until it fucks up again, when it does I'll send it away to be repaired |
well if you lay the 360 flat it wont do it again
