You dont believe your the one lacking in maturity, and I am ? By going on and on about this topic for which there is a definate and very clear answer, which is, NO BLOOD AND GORE, your certainly showing a clear case of immaturity by continuing on about it.

"Christ almighty, shut the hell up. DJK you just dont know when to stop whining do you ?? You whinging little turd"
Ahh yes, THAT was certianly mature. Atleast I manage to complain w/out name calling and insulting those I don't agree with. You think because I complain about something(I KNOW that I'm not going to change their minds) that it means I'm immature?? |
Ooookay.. what about my original question guys?

"Give it up, now."
HAHA, BallisticWookie. What the hell makes you think you can actually tell me to stop, like you have some sort of authority over me?? "DJK, I honestly don't know why you are so stuck on the blood issue, talk about being closed minded." Because I feel that blood adds GREATLY to the realism. That is my opinion, and no matter what anyone says, I'm still gonna feel that way. "telling people that it's not going to be realistic" It's a war game w/NO blood or gore. That right there is unrealistic. Do you DENY that in real war, people BLEED when shot? Here's a question. Will there atleast be bullet holes left on their uniforms where they're hit, or is there just gonna be a puff of dust and then nothing? |

I said that because it's the truth, you just dont know when to shut up, you've been told time and time again that there will be no blood but you still persist, and persistent people like yourself, who continue with a lost cause really irritate me. Give it up, now.

The blood is about the only unrealistic thing in the game, most of the other stuff is realistic (weapons, uniforms, setting, behavior of enemys, etc). No game is going to be "completely" realistic, that is why it's called a GAME. You have to except that there will be, in some way, shape, or form, something unrealistic about any game. If there is something you just can't live without (ex. blood) then the game lacking the feature is not for you, so spending time ranting about is just wasting your own time (and in this case bothering others), you would be better off finding a game that suits your interests then complaining about one that does not. |
Ahem...hug anyone?

We are not making a medically realistic wargame, and people will not do so for a while. In We are not going to model the bullet flying through internal organs, nor are we going to simulate the corresponding physical trauma eventually leading to death. I guess this means we have an unrealistic game...
In short, we have *NEVER* claimed to be making a completely realistic game. We are making a highly realistic game, and a highly fun game. Of course, fun is subjective; if you only find gory games fun, you probably won't enjoy Allied Assault. If you enjoy good FPS gameplay with a high level of historical accuracy, then you will enjoy Allied Assault. And the fact remains that no amount of talking about the blood issue on this forum will cause EA to decide that the game vitally needs blood. I am sorry if it is a major sticking point for you, but you are going to have to accept that nobody is going to ship a game in the Medal of Honor universe that has blood. If you have a problem with that, you can take it up with Steven Spielberg (who originated the bloodless MoH universe), EA (who perpetuates it), ESRB (who mandates it for EA marketing's target rating), and the millions of people who think that videogames instead of parenting and other social factors cause violent behavior. |
