*MoG*Quartus your quouting of the Bible is quite impressive. Now try something, it will be hard. Stop quoting the Bible, use your own words. Think, that maybe just maybe that others opinions might have merit. What I have heard from you has done nothing but make me feel sorry for you. Your mind is closed. You are am man. Not a Man of God, just a man. If God exsists he will decide who is worthy, the bible won't help. Converted people into some perverse church that preaches how to hate other that do not believe as them is no key to your heaven.... To me you're more of a joke than any thing else. A Bible beating robot.
Just my 2 cents Enjoy |

Just my 2 cents Enjoy[/quote:6590f] Where were you when the earth was formed? Have you really figured it all out? :o The Bible says you are but a vapor that appears for an instant and then is gone. My answers would mean nothing, God's answers have authority. You keep confusing organized religion with a personal relationship. 1 Corinthians 4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, |
Quartus, when God tells us to spread the word he does not mean to make them unhappy when they choose not to accept it. Let them be..

The last thing I want is to make anyone unhappy, just a healthy debate about the topic, "God's Word: 3 things to consider" :) Cheer up everyone! |
Please... stop you are driving me further away form accepting an idea that a "God" could exist. Your right I am confusing organized religion and personal relationship, because my experiences with churches has been personal. But don't worry I'm done here time to move on with my life. Go follow your path, and don't stray or you may find the answer you have found, is not the answer that you seek,
Enjoy, and I hope that you're not as blind as you seem |
I suggest you listen to Low Spark, he is the most enlightened one on the forums :o

God spoke to many Old Testament people directly and then through His son, Jesus Christ. Today He only speaks through His completed written Word. :) Please don't take my word for it, read the Bible yourself and see. |
I'm not gonna read the bible  , If I want good fiction I'll turn to the classic works of Tolkien Thankyou very much. I mean the storys he wrote were just as outlandish and fantastic why is'nt what he wrote true???

Tolkien did , in fact, write fiction hence not true. How can you argue about something you haven't even examined. The Bible is about real people just like you, who lived and died just as you will. Why do you think its fiction? Any basis, experience ? |
Its easy to disregard the Bible as fiction when you haven't read it. I can easily say the writings of other major religions are fiction but to intelligently discuss the issue I would have to at least do a little homework to form a valid opinion.
Just a fourth thing to consider  |
