Good price on 7.62X39 here http://www.classicarms.us/htm/ammunition.htm
I know what you mean about the prices these days.I remember paying $89 for a case few years back.

Xorcist [USA] 06-25-2007 04:17 PM

Just bought this today. U.S. manufactured (Savage Arms) .303 Lee Enfield Mark 1*. Good condition with bayonet included. Not quite sure of the date it was produced as there are no dated markings. I know the Mark 1 was produced in 1939 and beyond. I will have to do some looking around on the net.

1st of my collection. I plan to get a Mauser, Mosin, and an M-1.

very nice, but the m-1 will run you a pretty penny. hope you have the money...and wish i had that kind of money

Simo Häyhä 06-29-2007 11:18 PM

whats the serial # on it? I'll find the date for you

Xorcist [USA] 06-30-2007 09:09 AM

Simo, I'm out of town, but I'll post it when I can.

Arkan 07-03-2007 03:49 PM

It's so damn ugly, i just HAD to have it. Just picked up the hideous looking Hi-Point 9mm carbine. Damn this thing is as ugly as anything i ever saw but it's mine.....lol

Cheap enough, now it's time to try and kill it with use. I may even dress it up with a new stock.

...and no, i'm not taking a picture in fear it'll break the camera !!

This LINK[/url:d6831] will have to do

rudedog 07-03-2007 04:58 PM

I've seen those, they look like they fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down LOL.

However, any 9mm long arm is damn fun to shoot!

Well i meant handguns, but shit if you can get your hands on an MP5 get it!

My dream weapon, HK 417 chambered in a 7.62, just think a Carbine length like an M4 but with a 7.62...yummy

Or this HK 416 chambered in 5.56

rudedog 07-03-2007 08:58 PM

I'd rather have an HK SP89

I've showed you these before, trying to get my paperwork to convert it into a SBR.

I found an old picture of my mom, dad and me when I was a baby. Dad had some nice stuff. Here is a shot of his MP44. Wish he had kept it.

Arkan 07-03-2007 09:32 PM

Rude, can you please stop showing that SP89 ? I'd love to get one of them.

Milla 07-03-2007 09:36 PM

Nice P2000 rude, i love those.

rudedog 07-04-2007 07:02 AM

I was very hesitant on getting the P2000 because it's single action only. After a week or so, I love this gun and is now my personal carry firearm.

Stupid me passed on the HK soft case for it and now I can't find one anywhere, for a decent price...

Sorry will stop posting the SP89 pics :)

Milla 07-04-2007 08:46 PM

I have USP Compact, basically the same thing except i cant change the grips out. Mine is DA/SA, i kind of wanted a LEM trigger, (DA all the time) but for 500 barely used for my handgun i couldn't complain!

Just picked up this Yugo SKS. Gotta break it down completely to get the cosmoline off of it. Heard the stuff is a nightmare to deal with. Priced a case of 7.62 wolf.....$241.00 !! The ammo is more expensive than the rifle !!

Gonna start stocking up on ammo, heard it's going to nearly double by October.

Proteus 07-10-2007 07:28 PM

The SKS was my favorite weapon in CoD:UO.

Simo Häyhä 07-10-2007 10:01 PM

I've always loved the look of the yugo m59/66 over all SKS varients.

ninty 07-10-2007 10:09 PM

just get some corrosive ammo for it. it's way cheaper. nice rifle though. yugos are hard to find here. can find plenty of chinese though. good thing about the norinco rifles is that for an sks it's like $130 cdn.

Arkan 07-10-2007 10:33 PM

Yeah, i only paid $139 for it here in the states. Gun store guy said he practically sold it to me for retail because he just wants to get rid of them. He now has one left.

Where do you find this corrosive ammo you speak of? I just placed an order online for 1k rounds of 7.62 for $170 and 1K rounds of .223 for $200.

I may even order an additional 1k rounds of each because i have an AK coming.

ninty 07-17-2007 05:49 PM

not sure where you can get corrosive in the states, because all the places i order from only ship to canada, and all the us places don't ship here for obvious reasons i guess.

if you got 1k rounds of non corrosive for $170, then that seems like a good deal to me cause i bought myself 1200rds of corrosive 7.62x39 for $200 cdn because the stuff is getting harder to find here and the prices are going up. next i have to find a rifle to use it in. happy: can never have too much ammo i guess.

i think i'm gonna get myself an sks as well.

ninty 07-18-2007 11:17 AM

Bought a Chinese Norinco SKS. Will take pics when it gets here.

was it limited to 5 rounds?

ninty 07-18-2007 11:26 AM

yeah, they all are here.

it's illegal to own a center fire rifle in canada with more than 5 rounds. all magazines are pinned to 5.

only exception is the garand.

can actually get an ar-15 with 10 round mags, but thats because the ar mags are actually made for a pistol and just so happen to fit into an ar. the laws here are so fucked up.

not too far away from Freedomtown. take a trip to the states and pick up a few magazines

ninty 07-18-2007 03:33 PM

not worth it.

i get busted with illegal mags and the government will take all my guns.

the sks is an internal 10 round mag pinned to 5 with a pop rivet. if i really needed a 10 round mag, i'd just drill the rivet out.

same for ar mags. I can buy 30 round ar mags, their just pinned to 5. SHTF i pop the rivet out and now i have a 30 round mag.

i can't use 30 round mags anyway cause people would look at me funny at the range. i suppose i could go out in the forest and shoot them off though.

would they even sell mags to canadians in the states?

tell you what, i'd be shitting my pants crossing back over the border with a bunch of illegal mags in my trunk.
whats the serial # on it? I'll find the date for you[/quote:7484f]

Forgot all about this ^.

U.S. manufactured (Savage Arms) .303 Lee Enfield Mark 1*.

Here is the serial on the stock:

66c5293 with a B stamped lower down.

Serial on the bolt:

AB63158

Mismatched i know.

ninty 07-18-2007 03:49 PM

what do you mean simo? no gooks, niggers, jews or fags allowed? ed:

i didn't see you enfield xorcist. looks nice. i want one badly, but need to wait for the right deal. and need to fond some bloody ammo. thats probably the hardest part.

Arkan 07-19-2007 06:09 PM

BRD, some say i'm infected with it....

ninty 07-19-2007 06:14 PM

shit arkan nice. what caliber is the storm?

Arkan 07-19-2007 06:29 PM

Ninty, got you fooled. That "Storm" is the Hi-Point 995 carbine with the new ATI stock and red dot scope attached. It's 9mm and it shoots really good. I just need to get a sling for it and i'm good to go. The Bushmaster AR is next to it with a new ACE stock on it. Next to that is the new Saiga AK i picked up today. I have some tricks lined up for this rifle ( wait until you see it later on) My shottie rounds out the batch of black rifles.

I wouldn't mind picking up THIS[/url:3b22d] in "Glock 19" 9mm.

ninty 07-19-2007 06:40 PM

Holy shit that looks way better than it used to. amazing what a stock can do. looks just like a beretta storm.

what's the shotty? mossberg 88 maybe?

you hit the range often enough to shoot all these babies?

Arkan 07-19-2007 07:05 PM

The shottie is a Mossberg 500. I try to go to the range as much as possible to shoot all my toys. Just picked up 1k rounds of .223 and 2k rounds of 7.62 this past week. I should be going this weekend to put some lead down range. I need to re-sight the 9mm carbine with the red dot.

mr.miyagi 07-19-2007 07:59 PM

you guys should take some videos of you at the shooting ranges and post em up
