No way, you can get a good dSLR for a nice sum of money man - like 500 bucks for a camera and lens.

And thats new!

i'm interested in a d70 with roughly a 28-90 lens. i have a 28-90 lens for my n75, not sure if it would fit a d70. if it would, i probably would invest in a telephoto.

if you have a nikon slr which i think you do it will fit, but you wont have auto focus and i think you'll stilol have to set the aperature (which might fuck up the light meter). keep in mind the 1.6x crop from film to dslr, 28 isn't really that wide when you factor it in.

Just got the D80 in the mail. . .so far I'm really liking it - looking to head out to San Fran and the coast this weekend to test it out. . .

BlackJackal 06-01-2007 08:13 PM

dude seriously? i'm pretty set on buying a d70, so much cheaper since the d80 came out. i was talking to a guy at a camera store i frequent, and he said something about a d70 body being around 400, and i could use my 28-90 lens i use on my N75, and he said that you wouldn't loose autofocus and actually would increase the focal point. i was asking this cause of what anti said about interchanging a film slr lense onto a dslr, i could be mistaken.

Just fucking around with the D80. . .mini-trip postponed - lost wallet on freeway - rolleyes:
