I have 2 older Radeon cards that work fine, a 9000 Pro 64MB and a 9000non-pro 64MB.

Both run BF2 at low 1024x768. But i do get random times where the screen goes black, but the game is still playing, this is right after a map loaded, and i can head my cursor clicking as it scrolls over the kits on the spawn map, very annoying.

In winxp go to control panel and open the system option, that'll give you your ram and cpu at least. Go to display settings to find out your video card.

The funnest part of this game is in a 64 person server and all hell breaks loose when it's a 32v32 and your within 10 meters of each other.

That happens? Usually it's 10 people on the carrier getting sniped by one guy until he runs out of ammo because people are too stupid to figure it out. The rest being randomly scattered across the map.

Something pretty dumb just occured to me while playing the game. You have some vehicles that can pop smoke ot make a smoke screen, tanks, lav,apc etc. Its possibly one of the most useless things they could put in the game. Why? Even when you do pop smoke and are behind the screen all an enemy has to do it point his xhair at the smoke and he'll see your red name tag show up through it. Its not like the vehicles that have the smoke screen option are fast moving anyway so you're still as vulnerable with the smoke as you are without it. annoy: You'd think with the smoke screen up that your tag would become invisible to make the screen have some point but nope. hake:

I try to use the smoke as cover for teammates that are on foot. I know you can see the tags through the smoke, but it's harder to find a guy running 100 yards away, than it is to find a big ol' APC or tank.

Hopefully it gets patched to work properly, as it is now in a tank or something its like being out in the open with some useless graphics effect going on around you.

Getting tapped by the bumper of the jeep or anything shouldn't insta-kill.

That one is pretty fucking annoying, i landed on a roof with the seahawk and hopped out and instantly dies, i was thinking the rotor hit me because of the angle of the roof, turns out the hawk rolled forwards about a half inch and killed me. oOo: I suppose its either that or have tanks pushing players around maps again instead of running them over. Makes hopping out of jeeps on the move more tricky though.

Also got some weird bug, i spawned and couldn;t move, i was stuck to the spot, couldn't fire or swirtch weapons or move in anyway, tried suiciding and switching teams and remained stuck to the spot whereever i spawned. eek:

Another thing...the AI in SP are still fucking retards. I give them orders and they sit around doing jack shit.
