That's just sad. Five years later and people still have faith that the game will be released?

I suppose. Some games had great graphics, like God of War and Shadow of the Colossus.

Shadow of the Colossus' graphics aren't really that nice IMO. Plus the frame rate slows down a pretty good bit throughout the game. I'll agree with you on GoW though. Don't forget Metal Gear Solid 3.

I have a hard time believing that the Dreamcast could have produced the same quality. The Dreamcast was about making fun games, like Power Stone and the NFL 2K series.

I've never been a graphics whore though, and I think the X360 and PS3 level graphics are more than enough to do the job. You'll find no complaints from me about this level of graphic capability:

I played a demo of RSV a few weeks ago and the graphics do look that good.

The article you linked me to had a date of 2001, so I went with that date.

i have my ps3 pre ordered i just hope i get it on launch. if not ill bitch and moan then get my wii 2 days later

geRV 10-23-2006 10:03 AM

With only 400k units its gonna be pretty hard to pick up one in america, the japs must be uber pissed since they get a gay 100k units. oOo:

Find it amazing the ps3 was delayed from spring to november and all they can manage is a paltry 500k units, if they didn't go blu-ray they'd likely have a few million units waiting in the wings, assuming the blu-ray diodes are the only factor thats making the production of these things tortoise speed (according to reports it is). annoy:

And heres some more of the sony spin, xbox 360 REQUIRES a hd-dvd drive. oOo:

http://gaming.engadget.com/2006/10/19/s ... costs-700/

Is that desperation i smell? Yup.

you guys love to drink your haterade when talking about PS3

honestly...i would of bought a gamecube over an xbox just for Zelda...but they went cell shade and i don't like cell shade...

Im happy iwht my Xbox...has one of thebest games of all systems in KOTOR...reason i bought it...I really only use it for my sports games though...all my good games are for PS2.

As long as the RPG genre is pretty much stricky on sony consoles...sony will be my choice.

I wonder who ill get as my secondary console...WII or Xbox 360...ill see what games are out for it in like 2 years.

Haterade. oOo:

As for zelda .omfg, you being mr zomg graphics dont matter gameplay does, and because zelda had different GRAPHICS you automatically didn't like it? Nice way to totally contradict yourself. biggrin:

Your whole argument of graphics dont matter has been totally debunked,

ty come again. ban: beer:

lol...I'm just talking about the Zelda Franchise

why go changing the formula of the best game to come out on any system...during that generation...

only FF7 was close to Ocarina of Time's greatness

and i dislike them telling me about the real Zelda for gamecube and then make it for WII

They didn't change any formula, the gameplay was the same the graphics were different, what you see doesn't affect how the game is played. And last i checked theres no written rule that says zelda games HAVE to look a certain way.
