2. right wing media such as? cnn? leans left. msnbc? leans left cnbc? leans way left. n/abcbs? about as useful for objectivity as the back of a shampoo bottle. so who does that leave? fox news, and um thats about it besides conservative radio talk show hosts (which are beating the pants off the liberal answer to limbaugh/hannity: air america) the fact of the matter is, left wingers have no answer to the problems facing America, they can only agree on getting Bush out of office, not just wanting him out but hating him with the passion that you obviously hate the man. Becuase they have the corner on the major media markets, its open season on Bush and how terrible of a President he is, you only need turn on cnn for ten minutes to get that impression. That being said, the Democrats are finding that aside from hating Bush, Kerry offers nothing new in the way of platform ideas besides the UN. At least with Bush, he doesn't sound like an arrogant prick as Kerry comes across. 3. I'm glad you are concerned with what is happening here but let's remember one thing. the conservatives who speak up on this forum do not represent every conservative in the US. I'm not trying to piss anyone off but the majority of us do not jump to personal attacks when their positions are challenged. I've had debates with you and I avoid attacking you personally at all costs because I don't know you. I respect your opinion and your right to give it and I only ask the same. Infantile responses have no place in a valid discussion and members of both sides who jump to the standard "please die (insert location and/or method of death here)" prove one of two things 1.) they are too lazy to pick apart the argument presented with facts or 2.) they have nothing with which to pick apart the argument presented. I can agree to disagree with you short, I just ask that you respect my right to support Bush and maintain that he is doing a good job without being equated with the village idiot. cheers[/quote:2f8cd] i love you, chappy. you said most everything my dislexic posts failed miserably at attempting to say. |
He lied to the American people. It cost his lying daddy a second term and should also cost him the same. I wish there was a real canidate running.

Friends?...as in go to the mall together or go to eachothers houses and play girl talk? |
I have avoided even reading this thread, mainly because I knew I'd get pissed off.
I read it, and I'm pissed off. In seven pages, I have yet to see Short Hand make a valid point. Even in the face of cold, hard facts, he is so blindly devoted to Michael Moore that he repeats that fat fuck's regurgitated bullshit. I suppose that sort of dedication in commendable. I'm not getting in on all the points, but I do want to say two things: 1) Tax cuts - the top 1% pay over half the taxes, the top 1% pay over half the taxes, the top 1% pay over half the taxes, the top 1% pay over half the taxes.. also if you don't fucking pay income tax you shouldn't get a goddamn refund check. WTF kind of sense does that make? "Oh, but I'm paying $100/mo to Social Security and wtf ever else, meanwhile I'm receiving $400/mo in food stamps and another $400/mo in welfare checks. WHERE IS MY TAX CUT?!" Jesus. 2)
and the 1000 + US soldiers being killed daily[/quote:87121] Where in the whole of God's green Earth did you come up with that number? http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/ There hasn't even been over 1,000 casualties throughout the entire Coalition since the beginning of the war you fuck-knuckle. And that's from a Liberal source. Douche. And just to comment on the civilians - there have been 11,000-13,000 civilian casualties in Iraq (iraqbodycount.com - Liberal source). Iraqi insurgents are responsible for a large portion of those:
That's 133 civilians killed and 222 wounded in a matter of three days. Now, consider insurgents are launching attacks like this about once a week (that's being generous) and do the math on how many civilian deaths you come up with since May 2003. Estimated 100 deaths per week since June of 2003, that is approximately 5200 deaths (100 week x 4 weeks in a month x 13 months). Not to mention the civilians that were mowed down by the Iraqi Republic guard when they celebrated in the streets, as well as Baath Party members who murdered supporters of the US in the days leading up to and during the invasion. So realistically, nearly half (probably more) of civilian deaths are caused by insurgents. If you want to see civilian deaths and the causes, go check out iraqbodycount.com and get schooled by your Liberal friends. |
