I thought it was a very good demo. I died several times at the start before I got a hang on the controls and how the game plays. The combat is a little more engaging this time around than in previous Tom Clancy games, and quite similar to the way Advanced Warfighter plays out, only in indoor environments.

i'm saying in my opinion they shouldn't of bothered...I don't care about graphics...but I like the realistic look more than the cartoon look.

both statements say the same thing

it's not like they changed from top-down...to whatever you call the style of the N64 zeldas...cuz they needed too...just like how GTA had to do it

but this isn't changng the gameplay...it's changing the graphics to look like it's a cartoon...why?

Both statements do not say the same thing, the second statement says you would have got a cube and zelda over an xbox but the graphics made you not bother, hell of a statement coming from a guy that lives and breaths the supposed "fact" that you dont care about graphics in games.

As for why they changed the graphics, they made link younger so they went with a style they thought suited the younger version. Plenty of people still bought and liked the game regardless of how it looked. And by the way nintendo never stated link would look any different in wind waker, the link that was shown a year or so earlier was part of a tech demo, websites made their own little song and dance about this is how link was definately gonna look in the next game so they misled the public and not nintendo.

and for that move...Nintendo fell to #3...

N64 was so badass! I don't know what they were up too with the cube.

So you're saying 1 game made them lose popularity? oOo:

Nintendo lost popularity mainly because they stuck to their old ideals with the older president of nintendo in charge. Most likely it will change with iwata in charge as he seems to have a better knowledge of what gamers want.

Like the real Zelda!

Bucknub 10-23-2006 12:43 PM

well, eb games said that they give $60 for the slim ps2 and around $$5-15 for a few of my games. that's basically the taxes on the system right there and still $500 right out of my pocket. loney:

They didn't change any formula, the gameplay was the same the graphics were different, what you see doesn't affect how the game is played. And last i checked theres no written rule that says zelda games HAVE to look a certain way.

plzdie:

seriously, every Zelda game has had a completely different look. Pyro, you are a fool, please stop trying to make big points.

That's not totally true. The two N64 Zelda games looked virtually the same. The GBC Zelda games looked the same. The only games that actually had good, original looks to them were the first Zelda, Zelda for the SNES, and Wind Waker. The GBA Zelda game and the Four Swords game also looked the same. Almost. So yeah, not every single Zelda game looks different, and not all of them are very original.

Xbox has better graphics than the ps2, so it is really better
