Three compliments on the artwork and modelling. A good time to mention that you didn't actually have anything to do with it and only imported the models. A good feat in itself but still not your own work. Quote:
[/quote:2b37d] If it is going to replace it then I would assume it's going to eventually be released by you. Quote:
now you can use it in MOHAA..:S biggrin:[/quote:2b37d] Oh, cool... Obviously not.
That ak-47 looks so good. Nice work Guarnere, cant wait till its released. [/quote:2b37d] Nor can I. It is going to be released isn't it? Well, no one has said it isn't and they've had two chances to say it so far! COOL. [quote:2b37d]what about ryan? they both did it and extremely good aswell ed: cant wait for release keep up the good work.[/quote:2b37d] Yeh, they both worked really hard on it. Second chance to deny this was their work at all. Third chance to deny its release. Quote:
Its cool that you figured out how to import skins from Counter-Strike and DOD. Its just not cool that you're making people believe that you had anything to do with the making of any of them though. You should give the original makers credit...like the AK which these 4 guys made... Model/Mesh: Shrike Skin: Wannabe Anims: Gooseman/def_one compile: Andeh Kinda sad... oOo:[/quote:2b37d] Ah.
guys that's why we are not releasing those models!! it was like a test...we just tested if we can make and add new weapons into MOHAA...nobody said anything about releasing it to the plubic!! and stop asking when it's gonna be released ! it wont be released!!![/quote:2b37d] And finally... After 8 pages of adulation and adoration, of building hopes and receiving praise now you tell us. Come on... It looks really bad from where I'm sat. |
man if you guys dont release those guns your reputation will be destroyed!and you know it. just release them as a test to see if thell work and make us happy. no one will blame you and your reputation will be intact.
|
they'll release it, geezsus calm down and stop act like lil kids fighting over who gets what first freak:
|
So long as they get permisson to use the work from the original authors and they give credit where it is due there is no reason not to release them.
|
yeah thats what i ment. but need permission?why i would stikem in

no they have to release them orelse those guys will go hunt them down lol, guarnere, TWE-Ryan.... always have a gun with you.. just in case |
Asking permission is considered good and mature etiquete. You don't have to do it.
Just think how you'd feel if you'd spent a lot of time working on something only to have someone else come along and use it and claim credit for it. You'd feel ripped. Ok, so you didn't categorically state that the skins and models were created by yourself, but you didn't state that they weren't either. You had lots of oportunities to do so. At any rate, I couldn't care less about these mods because they are purely cosmetic and wouldn't change MoH enough to be worth bothering with. The only thing about this thread that got me was it was very evident that no effort at all was made to give credit to the original makers (you quite happily soaked up credit until it was pointed out). You also did not deny the release of it (despite many oportunities to do so) until, again, the origin of the models and skins was disclosed. I couldn't give two shits where you got them from and I am not a bloody lawyer so I don't care about legal ramifications, as I'm sure very few people here do. But you just can't go around saying you made something when you didn't. And on more than one occasion in this thread I saw the words "I made". It should just have been stated that "you imported". Big difference. If it is your own work then say so, if it isn't then say so. What is so difficult about that? By the way, you should release them now, anyway. "hey the pics are just for you dumbasses to know that it posible to make new weapons for mohaa " Seeing as you just insulted the "dumbasses" on this board I think it would be the only way to make up for it. At least some people here want them. |
everyone already knew you could get new guns in aa, so how was testing these just to show people that its possible? ive got about 6 new guns ingame, there was that molotov from the 1936 mod, and the FG42.
