Okay I would like to answer some PMs sent to me regarding <a href=http://www.groundforce1.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1006053>this</a> here.
[*]The forum is going nowhere I can promise you that. I'm likely to keep this web server running for a while because... well mainly because I'm lazy.
[*]For the main site, it's likely to be more time consuming to maintain and develop than you can imagine, so I don't think I'll take up any offer to take over the main site unless you used to run gamespot biggrin:

[*]For the game server, if you guys want to keep it, it's gonna cost <a href=http://www.serverbeach.com/catalog/powerline.php?os=win2k>$169</a> per month.
[*]The server we have had enough power to host a full 28 players CSS server, along side with a MoHPA server which gets some traffic from time to time, a MoHAA server that strangely have 4-5 players that kept coming in to play at around 4 EST for a few hours everyday, a pretty much empty CoD server, a dedicated FTP for the webserver to grab logs from daily, and a web server that does nothing but foward alpha.groundforce1.com to http://www.groundforce1.com; Bit overkill if you ask me but hey I always go with the best option possible.

I think the jist of what BS is saying is that the forum isn't going anywhere, but the main site isn't worth the upkeep (I agree) and the game servers are gone in a month.

Considering the CS:S server is the only one worth keeping, maybe we can explore ways to keep it.

If there was only one thing to keep, the sexy offtopic forum. Ofcourse you would want me to run it and make sure everything was ok.
