Awesome! They had a phone number on the ad and if you call it you get this (pinched it from another site): http://media.putfile.com/Intro1-82

You have to go through the different extensions to get into other areas of the .org website.

From another site

[quote:d21f8]
the other options direct you to people's voicemail boxes.

2- Alvar Hanso - cuts out to a girl saying 'Who is Alvar Hanso?' then cuts off
3- Thomas
4- Hugh MacIntyre, has two messages:

1 from Thomas :- "hugh, thomas, just got the changes, we should go ahead and rename the accelerated remote viewing programme as well.. got to try and put a public face on all this. Call me."

1 from Darla :- "I've got to talk to you about this Sri Lanka thing. It's just not right"

NB - may be paraphrased as my typing is too slow

5- Peter Thompson - his voicemail message cuts out rather amusingly "gimme the phone irene, gimme it" and he is a bit abusive, but doesn't sound like a clue[/quote:d21f8]

I DLed the first two episodes, I thought it was pretty cool, although it annoyed me in the first part when only Jack was competent, and how jack just happens to know how everything is done. Okay, he's a doctor, thats believable, but then he ALSO took flight school? The first episode didnt develop any characters other than Jack to the point that'd Id care. Big mistake, I think. But whatever, I still was quite impressed.

Just when you thought Lost was in a bit of a lull.

<Champ Kind> WHAMMMY! </Champ Kind>

That was one great hour of TV.

Mr.Buttocks 05-04-2006 09:41 AM

[quote:0b8fb]HONOLULU — "Lost" actress Michelle Rodriguez left jail Friday after serving a sentence for drunken driving.

Rodriguez was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $500 after she pleaded guilty Tuesday. She entered the Oahu Community Correctional Center later that day.

Rodriguez, who was credited for one day served because of time spent in custody after her arrest last year, was released after serving about 65 hours.

OCCC Warden Nolan Espinda said inmates receive full credit for any portion of a day served.

It was an uneventful stay for Rodriguez, who lived in a dorm with 60 other female inmates, Espinda said. She could read and watch TV, and she had to keep her area clean, he said.

No media were present when Rodriguez was released.

Rodriguez, 27, who portrays police officer Ana Lucia on the ABC drama, chose the jail time and fine rather than perform 240 hours of community service.

She and fellow "Lost" cast member Cynthia Watros were both charged with drunken driving after they were pulled over Dec. 1 in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other.

Watros, who plays Libby, pleaded guilty to drunken driving in January and was fined $312, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and 14 hours of counseling. She also had her license suspended for 90 days.

Rodriguez's troubles with the law aren't over. She's serving three years probation after pleading no contest in 2004 in Los Angeles to three traffic violations, including drunken driving.[/quote:0b8fb]

Zoner 05-04-2006 09:57 AM

That was the first thing I thought of. These two dolts fucked up and they had to be written out of the show.

Hurley's gonna be a scattered man...a huge, goofy shattered man.

Mr.Buttocks 05-04-2006 10:19 AM

I just read the paragraph on the ABC site that gives a brief outline of what next week's episode's about. A very subtle clue was given aaaaaaaaages ago that might relate to two of our Losties over the coming episodes; I'll put it in wee text.....

"Enkidu's friend". Google "Gilgamesh"

Zoner 05-04-2006 10:27 AM

"Gilgamesh" is one of the answers in John Locke's crossword in the Lost episode Collision

Thanks Wikipedia!

Ya.

Read "The Epic of Gilgamesh" and it'll make more sense.

I just did. I think I have an idea, but I'm not sure.

Jack = Gilgamesh
?? = Enkidu

?

Kinda past spoilage pertaining to what Buttocks and I are whispering about:

I'm thinking...

Possibly Locke = Gilgamesh, Eko = Enkidu. Next week they're going off to find what is at the "?" on the map, it could be considered a "great adventure", like in The Epic of Gilgamesh. There's also the parallel of Gilgamesh dreaming of a falling meteorite, Locke "dreaming" of a falling plane, and a few other similarities.

Sgt>Stackem 05-04-2006 10:53 AM

as far as the jail time goes I think I would have done that too. 240 hours of community service would take forever.

BTT

I dont think Libby is dead. the shots didnt hit her they hit whatever she was carrying

here is what TV giude says about next week:

"?"
Mr. Eko seeks Locke's help in finding a secret location he believes holds the key to the island's mysteries; Jack and the other survivors grapple with the horrific situation in the hatch.

Well, one of the bullets got her right in the belly, so it isn't looking good for her. It'd be shit if they killed her because we'll never get to see what would have happened when Hurley remembered that she's a fellow fruitcake. :(

she was carrying blankets though...

Rodriguez could have done comm service but decided to go to jail for a few days and be on probation instead....what a lazy person. I would have done the comm. serv, but then again, she (as an actress) doesn't really need to make sure her record is clean...

Sgt>Stackem 05-04-2006 11:27 AM

Dont know, thats 30 days of com service. Most of the time thay are served on weekends only so thats 7 1/2 months of weekends dedicated to comm service. Id take the 5 days

Mr.Buttocks 05-04-2006 12:59 PM

Regarding Libby. We haven't had a Libby flashback yet (other than the short one at the end of the last Hurley episode) so maybe she will survive. calmdown:

TGB! 05-04-2006 02:05 PM

Rodriguez has always known she wasnt staying on the show full time.

And her character has really reached a creative plateau - not a whole lot they could have gone.

Mr.Buttocks 05-04-2006 02:48 PM

Did any of you guys over there call the number on the Hanso advert?

Zoner 05-04-2006 02:55 PM

Nope. hake:

RaNgeR 05-04-2006 03:04 PM

Libby must survive..

but seriously, best lost episode besides when they opened the hatch, and first went in.

It made my week!

Madmartagen 05-04-2006 03:41 PM

best part is that they said theres a new episode next week! i would have taken the 5 days too, those hours of service suck. i lmao when i see teens picking up trash on the highway or painting walls, its hilarious. 5 days in a hawaiian jail are prolly better then service anyways.

you think Michael is gonna run for it or stay and say that the prisoner escaped and capped the two girls. i think hes been brainwashed and that he is going to lead the jack, locke, sawyer and jin into a fatal confrontation with the others....

no, he's not gonna run for it, why would he shoot himself in the arm if he was gonna run for it, he's gonna free Henry and say that he did it and then manipulate the lost group from the inside. Obviously Libby won't survive because that wouldn't work otherwise...

Sirus 05-05-2006 01:21 AM

ya but he only shot her in the stomach, She'll live long enough to tell em what happened unless they cap her in the head or smother her
