Pistol only weekend
 

Were looking at running a pistol only weekend on our server... obviously you get the muppets that insist on other weapons, so we have created a mod that allows the only weapon with ammo to be the pistol...

Just wanted to see what the interest level is...

Sorry not this weekend, probably either next weekend 2 November / 3 November or the following weekend (9th and 10th) If there is enoguh interest...... will be stock maps only for the first time, and maybe customs if it is a hit

If your going to run pistols. You have to run the HighNoon Map.

Maybe make it a tournament in the future, but would be administration to do aswell then....... lol..

I just wanna play and have fun for now :-)

See how it goes, if there is a lot of interest on the first one we will make it a regular thing on the server, and yeah we will run a tournament on it.......

Coul do something like, the top 5 players kill wise (we have a stats system on the server) of the day goes through to the next round, do it over 4 days (2 weekends) then the 3rd weekend can be the top 20 players battle it out for 1st place.... hehehehe

There's also a pistol mod out there that runs server-side...it allows you to use silenced pistols in the server. Quite fun cool: Might wanna check it out.

Can you even the pistols up? The .45 seem to hit harder in the game than the 9mm, I will play htough.

hmmmmm evening them up should be a doddle, just got to copy all the settings from one to the other....

Also you should make pistol whip a one-hit-kill AND make it so you can bash from 10 ft away.
