ok peepS! this subject i think is very interesting!and i need to hear peeps
opinion!!

1. first of all is LEan Strifin kind of a cheat!?

2. Shotguns! My Dear Shotgun! are they Pussy??

so it's like this:

I do a ded. server. and My clan mates sometime argue about these 2 subject.
see this, 1 person like to use SG, and 1 perosn like to use LEan strife!
so the Leaner says No SG please! and the SG maan Says then no leaneing!

so the conclusion is like this:
If Shotgun are not allowed! then Lean.strifing are not allowed!

what do ya think? is this fair? or??

i don't think leanstrafing is a cheat, it's just extremely stupid looking and ruins the atmosphere, shotguns i never had a problem with since i play CKR biggrin:

Its all part of the game just leave it.

Lean-Strafing in SH isn't as effective as it is in MOHAA though so its up to you.

Lean-strafing never affected my ability to kill the man.

Shotguns, I never had a problem with. Just run in a circle shooting at them. biggrin:

Lean-strafing is not any worse then running backwards up or down the stairs and shooting or continuously jumping and shooting.

All weapons are part of the game, deal with them all.



Post a message to quit complaining about weapons and game settings or be kicked.

Hmmmm, many use to say leaning is standard in Mohaa, well then accept it not to be in Spearhead..........it's not standard anymore.
Don't like it ?? I would say "stick to Mohaa and don't install Spearhead". And i do know many will disagree on this, and will say Spearhead is an addon on Mohaa so leaning should be enabled.
Well, it will not be enabled on our server..........some guys don't just lean.........they breakdance and that ruins the game and makes me nervous evil:

I really don't care if someone leans in a game, if they think that makes them a harder target, they are wrong. As far as shotguns go, I'm not concerned with what weapon a person uses, they be can be taken down just the same. biggrin:

I don't know why we have to keep bringing this same topic up! Just let it go, some people lean and looks stupid doing it and other don't lean!!!!

hell i dont have a problem with either of em....i use lean and stife and SG!!! lol but i sometimes play with smg with lean and i have to say...its easyer to kill a lean a strifer....but see....iam just so good....you cant kill me :)

Its all about tactics and how well you use them! Remember, if it were not a legit move, they would not allow us to do it. No one in the military will run a straight line for the risk of being shot. Same goes for us game players.

nor would they run up the street face to face with thier opponents firing a fully automatic weapon while leaning constantly and sidestepping.

I agree with Strikor on both his posts, but unfortunately, this is a Quake based game, so the crazy looking lean thing is there. I do it just to keep myself on the same playing field as other leaners.

Its not a cheat, but it is kinda dumb. And it frustrates me when I go to a Spearhead server that has it on.

I say, keep the shotties, but leave out the lean. I mean, they DID have shotguns in WWII. But I doubt they ran around swaying back and forth at the waist like a buncha...a buncha...well a buncha I dont freaking know whats!!!

My dad was in WWII and he still walks like a duck from all that lean/strafing he did.

The shotgun is part of Spearhead so leave it . You can stand or crouch and lean around a corner which is fine. So if you used Lean/strafe in MOHAA maybe it's time to relearn the game. I would think it would be more of a challenge not to leanstrafe than to do it, or as Shakespeare put it:
