What made you feel part of the war?
Out of all of AA and SH...what specific part out of a specific level really made you feel part of the war?
|
Sounds, and on SP the last map with all the mortars
|
Uh nothing...because it is a game and not real life.
Some of you need to determine the difference. |
ninty9: did ya post anything positive in this forum?

The best part is really the fps! It blows my mind hehe :P

Lol. Anyway, there weren't very many parts that made me feel like I was in a simulator, except for the 3rd mission on AA.
|
basically any mission where friendlies were nearby, because that's how war was, not just sneaking around all by yourself.
I think snipertown and bocage did it for me because I never knew what was around the next bend. |
most of the spearhead addon makes me feel that way, its great.
ninty9, shut your mouth, son. |
the part where i died
spearhead makes you feel that way? which part? the part where you parachute in with thousands of americans and go on a campaign mowing down germans with 3 british? the part where you sit in "the cold" with german weapons? the part where you go off on your own in berlin carrying russian weapons? |
Coolest mission
Hi all, the most true to original mission IMO was without a doubt sniper's last stand.
I dunno but all the rubble and destroyed houses reminded me alot of Saving Private Ryan. The only thing that ticked me off was the fact that the medic would run out from his hiding spot and get riddled with bullets just to give me some health |

I'll answer your question and not be a dickhead (as is sometimes rampant around here).
I felt most in the "war" when I crouched down behind a hedgehog on Omaha Beach for the first time. I had the sound cranked, the lights turned off, and coffee soaring through my bloodstream. I got such an adrenaline rush from the sounds and the chaos of that mission. Zone |
watching the loading screen lock up, then having to restart the computer manually
