'Best OS'
 

I know there was another topic on this, but I'm asking you guys what you think the best OS is for making webpages and what not, best stability for anything(preferably applications and games).

What do you guys think? (Label the OS and what is comes with, etc)

Another question: What is the best program for building webpages? (I'm an amatuar so don't list the most complicated web-building program on earth! :) (If you don't know, im building a webpage for a business, something to list my products, etc.)

Xp is perfectly stable for most programs, as for webpage making try microsoft frontpage, its simple enough to learn.

XP can blow at times, i was logged outta my computer one time and it deleted almost everything mad:

And how'd you manage that? You do specify a user name and password for a reason y'know happy:

going a little advanced eh solidus? biggrin: I got windows XP professional. Works like a charm. No errors ever. lol (i remember a long time ago i made a thread about how much i hated XP) things change biggrin:

I'm getting rid of Win 98SE because I'm getting 512 or more of RAM and 98SE only reads 256MB's.

I'm still stuck between Win 2k Pro and Win XP Pro.

Just get XP Pro then...

Heh, I hear that XP is un-stable, and has tons of bugs, and I hear Win 2k Pro is VERY stable and vice versa...

Oh well.

Windows XP is idiot proof, i know biggrin: cant go wrong with it, auto updates and all the other stuff. And you will get your DoD to work right. ;)
