cameltoe 12-28-2002 09:36 PM

how do you guys smooth out the edges?

Miscguy 12-29-2002 04:12 AM

When you use the cut tool see about having it Antilas it for you, if that doesnt work; up the feather. If all else fails use the eraser with some light settings. The GIF conversion looses colors and ruffs up the edges a little, nothing that cant be fixed with a little work.

If you dont mind me asking, Misicguy, what exactly does the Feathering do?

Miscguy 12-29-2002 07:49 AM

Feathering allows birds to fly.

Actually its somewhat like fading an image from the selection line. So if i where to go to selection and select a feather of say 10, then along side of that line, it would fade. If i upped it to 50 or so the fade distance would grow.

Heres what it looks like:

Its like pre-bl;ending your image for you, only its more uniform than doing it by hand.

Miscguy 12-29-2002 07:50 AM

Stupid lack of edit button.
