until the lakes thaw there is no swimming for me

Argon 02-11-2003 02:38 PM

i swim about an hour a day(1500-2000yrds), three days a week(Well most weeks i do). Its great excercise, low impact and great for losing weight, and thinking. As with any excercise its tough to have the will power to get in the pool and do it.

I'm worried about drowning man, wait, the way not to drown is to hold your breeath?

I'm a fairly good swimmer and not too bad at diving, but I'm out of practice.

I took swimming lessons when i was 6 or 7. I didn't even need a little floaty at first either! biggrin:

I love to swim. In my highschool we have an olympic size pool. It has it's upsides and downs:
GOODS: fun time in gym when you play water polo and dunk people left and right. It's different--not the same old basketball, baseball, soccer, etc ruitine
BAD-It's dirty as hell! So many students use it and it's gross! They have to use ALOT of chlorein(sp) too. Sometimes you can see a film of hairgel from fag kids who don't wash their hair before they get in the pool! oOo:

I just got done with swimming season. If you're looking for a good work out, SWIM!

It's a great way to start the day off.

No, the key to not drowning is....swimming.

I took swimming lessons at day camp in my youth. I'm a great swimmer now.

Innoxx 02-11-2003 06:22 PM

I can swim real good if a big fish is chasing me.

Unknown_Sniper 02-11-2003 06:25 PM

HOw big of a fish? a shark? Ive always wanted to hook a shark fishing...And swimming is easy to learn so I dont know why you need lessons. The only thing there good for is getting you in the pool to actually swim
