nades through the ground
how come when sometimes i fire a rocket or nade at the ground it goes through the terrain?
|
huh
lol, dunno |
It's an appalling bug that has never been addressed by EA (along with all the other ones).
It's just a case of learning where this happens and to avoid throwing nades at these points. Sad thing is, it can happen on perfectly flat ground as well. |
It happens a lot on Algiers and Destoryed Village. Not really sure why just everyone once in a while the nade will bounce and sink below the ground, nad not kill anyone. Its saved me many times.
|
There is no map fix that can fix it?
|
yea this happends alot on the hunt.. it gets on my nerves when i think im going to nail someone and then i dont even hear the nade blow up oOo:
|
maybe u h3x0r3d it and didnt know
|
Usally just happens when the ground is uneven...

your screwed |

That acctually saved my ass last night. A nade bounced and landed right in front of me only to sink into the map. But then I got banned cuz they said I was hacking :(
|
That happens where two LOD Terrains don't evenly snap together. If you spectate and go into the ground to where your head is just sticking out. You can see where the vertices don't line up.

It's what Ydiss said; maps with small hills, ditches, or berms will cause them to go though the textures of the map. It's a weird glitch, but it happens in a few games.

Weird. This has never happened to me.

Naw.. It's what I said. It's where the small hills, ditches, or berms connect together that the nades and rockets fall into. And it's because they are actually perfectly snapped together.. |
