DoD Help plz.
 

Hey, I got HL, and instaled it. And I tried installing DoD, but I can't seem to find where to load it uo and start to play. I scaned for games on Gamespy cept HL didnt come up... ahh help!

use the ingame borswer. And make sure you are updated to the latest version. DoD, great mod happy:

I can't even find DoD on my comp. I see all the damn files and shit but not an actual dod.exe!! I added short cut to my desktop, cept it links to the guied thing.

hm, something like this happened to me on my warez version (cant connect to any games cuz CD key invalid cry: ) but whenever i clicked on the link, it sent me to the parts of the file, well try uninstalling dod and then reinstalling, cuz thats what did it for me, but it might not for you, but i hope it does, cuz its a great mod that everyone should play freak:

You can activate it through half life, go to custom game and select Day of defeat. Activate it.

It doesn't show up there. and i'v instaled it caz i see all the files... and crap... nohting ever works for me on this computer...

it's a sort of out game browser. Stop by my clans server somtime. The only catch with that program is that you have to have the IP's of the server. You should also try All Seeing Eye.

Another well thing to have with Day of Defeat is Cheating Death. Check

http://www.unitedadmin.com and look for a program called Cheating Death.

What you do for a shortcut is just making a shortcut to HL.exe in Sierra/Half-Life, then right click on it and type in the target box to make it look like:

D:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game dod -nocdaudio

Of course your directory may be different.
