gravedigging ?

Why are the gravediggers about to be banned?

Post something interesting, or fun, let strik0r come back, something. At least ive been laughing at posts and sticking around this place for more than 5 minutes at a time. Believe it or not joe you are not the only person browsing these forums.

Whoop-de-fucking-doo.

If you're going to bring back posts only to say one stupid little comment, or something along those lines, then you deserve to be banned. If you actually bring back posts to add to the topic, or something that wasn't there before, then I wouldn't care, but to just bring them back to be an ass is a no-go.

Administrators; BadScript, Wookie, and myself.

gravediggers are a dying breed biggrin:

I honestly don't see what's wrong with it. Even if the topic isn't added to it's cool to remember the posts, especially if you posted in them.

If you didn't want the posts to be remembered then they should be clipped and deleted.

This is a community, not a private chat room.

We could just link to them but that's creating a new topic and this would be classed as spam anyway.

The "Remember old times" topics die out as fast as they re-appear so that format doesn't work.

Ok, had my say. Back to me map.

How about you just lock/delete the post that was gravedigged? Instead of banning the person?

gg common sense

HAHAHAHAHHAH!!! I guess you want to ban me because i remember those threads and bumped them for everyone to see how much funnier threads were that weren't locked, they were better back then. No BS where "OMG WHAT THE HELL THESE PEOPLE ARE GETTING SIDE TRACKED! I'LL LOCK THIS THREAD!" ... in the meantime clogging the database.

I love how the admins almost know a thing about mySQL databases. You lock a thread, it still exists taking up memory, we create another thread to make up for ... the cycle continues. You tell us not to start the thread again, so you've just created a taboo topic.

As for locking/deleting those threads, thats complete and utter bullshit. Would you "delete" The Alamo or "lock" the Empire State Building ... no. Those are a piece of aa.com history and should be remembered by all. I'm sorry Joe if you take this bored too seriously because you are missing out on all the fun the rest of us had. You were cool when you help with the smoke nades and such, but while the rest of us were having fun you had to look at everything from a negative side and think WWBSD "What Would Bad Script Do". I had no beef with you till now, until you feel the need for us to be banned for a little misdamenor (and thats going over bored) that actually brought back some memories.

So if i'm banned, thanks for memories.
