When a company says the date for a game, it means they are shipping the game to stores on that day. rarely I get a game on the same day a company ships it to stores.

Im thinking of getting it at EA's site, they are really cheap. But if some other store is gonna give alittle bit extra I wanna order from them.

I gaurantee you that EB will have it on the 22nd. I get every game ON the day of release from them. You should try them. This game is no different. I have been assured that I will have the game on the 22nd. They haven't let me down before, so no reason to assume they are lieing to me now.

Just preorder the game from EB, and they call you when it arrives. Duh.

Don't preoder from buy.com....you will get to hear about the game from others while you wait for your copy to arrive...lame.

I have a pre-order at my local EB.

I called them an hour ago and found out that it was unfortunately true that it won't be available to customers until the 23rd (yes, even if you pre-ordered).

I asked him why, and he told me that all retail stores, not just EB, have been changed to the 23rd as the official release day.

Its almost always like that. Thats why its called "release" date. The product is released/shipped from distributors.
