BF42/DC help
 

I'm having major problems with BF42 and DC. It's crashing while loading the maps. It does this with any map on any server. I have no clue as to what could be wrong, as it was running fine an hour ago. I have already tried restarting my computer. Can anyone help me out here?

happens to me sometimes too. randomly when loading maps my mouse shows up & it just stops. i have to always restart.

yeah, with me another new problem just occured. I just downloaded DC and when I get to the in-game browser and search for a DC server, i click on it. Just as i click on it, the whole freakin' program just closes as if it were never open. Almost like me minimizing it, but it disappears. Help anyone?

The only time that happens to me is if I forget to connect to the internet and search for a server in-game. once I click on multiplayer, it just quits. I doubt this is your problem though.

yes it is. they changed something in it that made it so that if your fps gets low its almost impossable to move at all, its like your attached to a rubber band, you walk ahead 2 steps & boomb your right back where you started.

Better than the 1.3 patch, thats for sure. that really fucked the game up. I can't beleive how fuckin stupid those programmers are. hake:

Yeah I had problems since I got the Bf42 1.4 patch. Then I got .38 DC and still the problems happened. FOr me though it only happend online. SO I took off my firewall....kablam it worked. try that

Well, it works again, guess XP was just throwing on of it's hissy fits over the amount of memory BF42 was using.
