It is highly suspected am with a little read over of it but to any one who has the beta... UNINSTALL IT NOW ! it has spyware in it and valve is tracking your ass now.
/I never dled the beta becuase i thought somethingy was to fishy about it. It seems I was right.
-Note im sorry but can't give any links to the discoverer of this since it is a private fxp forum for which this information was obtained.

This is recent news as of about an hour ago. More confirmation will be coming in within the next 24 hours if it is true.

/also anyone who played the beta knows it is kinda weird since it is really skimpy.

It is a good idea the only thing i that it installs spyware. which is seperate so when you plug the cable back in later.....You can't go without the internet forever.

Listen, there is no SPYWARE, no IP Logging, nothing. Need proof? Run the game, then check to see if there are any active connections that weren't there before you ran the game. Also, run a good firewall program, because anything trying to make a connection outside of your router will require permission to connect. Then run spybot if you are still paranoid, if you know what you are doing then you would know there is no damn spyware/trojan/virus in the leaked Beta.

Kids theses days, always so eager to jump on the rumor bandwagon.

shoot...the steam client 1.6 has spyware..known this for about 6 weeks now..where ya been?
