how do u do the shottie walk?

no he means the thing where u duck down your upper torso sticks staright out at your knee level, and you walk around like that. it looks funny as hell.

its really hard to explain though..

here's how you do shottie walk;

Drop the shotgun, pick up a rifle and learn how to aim instead of using a nub cannon.

I don't think he's being stereotypical. I believe he honestly can't stand players that have so little intelligence and creativity that they have to rely on one weapon, all the fucking time, instead of figuring out which weapons work in certain given situations.

I for one agree with him, if that is his case. The shotgun is a piece of shit weapon that has no place in the game. And anybody that says it takes skill to use is full of shit. I've seen brand new players, right in front of me, use it and own on a respected and heavily populated server. Two of those people were....

Yes that's right. A couple of gals that have had zero experience in playing video games, let alone playing MOHAA. They came over to the house, saw a game being played and wanted to try it out. And they racked up the kills, boys, with the shittie shottie. While I believe that woman can do anything men can do, and I have seen guys do the same thing, I entertain this idea of girls owning guys with shotguns for a point. Because I know that your teenage little egos can't stand the idea of girls owning a guy in a video game.

Oh and for that reason, my wife says, "Fuck you, kiddies."

completely wrong. if you ever watched players such as NAPALM, iMpAcT, HiTMaN47, Cutthroat, Blaster-Master play, then you would see REAL Shotty skills. not only that, but some of those players, ie cutthroat and Hitman, are two of the best rifle/snipers in the game.. so dont act like all people who use shotgun dont have any skill.. oh and btw, using a shotgun takes a ton of skill if you go against any of those guys

I think it has the same principals as the mauser in a way.

You have to maneuver so you don't get shot, and it has a sec or so between shots.

If you can mauser, than you can shotty, that's my philosophy.

but not vice versa.

tone down the fucking emotocons and spell ass hat. I'm saying that shotguns are really lame in MoHAA. It's sad when you can get blasted by a shotgun from a far distance and die from one hit. I'd prefer the realism mods out there but for that it's just the whoring of MG's. Everyone just picks up StG's and shit still kinda Garand fun.

How does one gain 'REAL Shotty' skills? By using the damn thing constantly, because it gets them quick and easy kills. They can run around the map like a fucking maniac, turn a corner, see someone, hit a button and BLAM they get another frag. They don't need to utilize cover, teamwork, or tactics.

I've played in Ladder matches against teams that insisted on having shotguns available. And nearly every single one of them used a shotty, if not then a sniper rifle. And these guys displayed a severe lack of teamwork. They were trying to be little one-man armies that ran around shooting at nothing and spamming the fucking game with their macros. And this is a clan that i KNOW you all know of.

Let's just put it this way. I have a different view on how to play a WW2 themed game. I believe in playing as a well balanced team, using well thought out, and practiced, map-specific tactics.

The fucking Shotgun doesn't fit into that view. And I won't even go into piddly little nit-picking like how it isn't historically accurate.

Have to agree Impact & Blaster are two of the best shottie guys in MOH, and Hitman is a top sniper. (the others I've never played) (oh and before some says I a BoRo groupy I think Impact and Hitman are two of the biggest dicks in MOH and I LMFAO when they got banned from TWL. Still they had skill.)

Yes a noob can get kills with a shottie but a noob owing skilled players with a shottie is a joke. Skilled players can take down any noob with a shottie with any weapon.

And as for girls I've played some that suck and some that had skill just the same as guys.

I'll have to agree with Slagg on this one, not simply because i dislike Fragged, but because Slagg is right. Shotguns display absoloutely almost no skill like i said in earlier posts, but a player can utilize his "sneaking skill", i fought a guy last night who was probably the best "sneaker" i'd ever fought. In close and long confrontations i owned him as he had a shottie and i had an m1, or a mauser. But damn, this could knew how to get right under your nose and fuck you when you weren't looking. He eventually went to the mauser and so forth.
