harddrive

Is your hard drive almost full? when your computer runs out of memory, it uses free hard drive space as memory.

What are your computer specs. Include the video card specs and the size of your power supply.

ss_soldat1933 12-01-2003 11:34 PM

ss_soldat1933 12-02-2003 05:06 PM

ss_soldat1933 12-02-2003 05:07 PM

Is the power supply the surge protector?

Johnj 12-02-2003 08:46 PM

No the power supply is the part that plugs into the electrical outlet. Power supplys are rated in watts. You could have a 250W power supply or a 450W power supply or somewhere inbetween (i hope) You would find the spec with the computers case info.

cant i juss right click my computer and go to properties?

Johnj 12-02-2003 09:24 PM

No The power supply is where the electric power plugs into your computer. If your power supply is to small it can overheat and cause problems like you describe. I had a 250W supply in my other computer and it kept locking up. I changed it to a 450W supply and no more lock ups. OK.

ss_soldat1933 12-02-2003 10:22 PM

how do i determine if its hot or not? and how can i tell which powersupply i have?

Johnj 12-03-2003 12:18 AM

First remove one of the side panels. It should look like[url=http://www.cflsurf.com/images/computer/my-wincase-inside.jpg:32e2e]this.[/url:32e2e]
The part in the upper left hand corner is the power supply and should have a tag on it with the specs.
Now with the cover off try playing the game. Any change?
