Sugar Bowl

Who you rooting for in the nc. Im gonna say LSU because of there dominant defence and that the head coach is from my hometown of Fairmont, WV.

yes, i think usc would beat both of them, but the OU and LSU game was fairly close

elitecloud 01-05-2004 08:09 AM

so are USC and LSU just going to share the title? or are they going to duke it out and actually find out who the best team is?

Xorcist [USA] 01-05-2004 01:21 PM

I don't know, but it was an excellent game.

It would be nice if the winners of the Rose Bowl and the Sugar Bowl played

against each other to decide the National Championship.

That would be the way to decide things overall.

gtboys34 01-05-2004 03:32 PM

I never ever wanna see Jason White in an NfL uniform, EVER. He's a disgrace to all of the OU fans

yah, i agree totlay, but his loss was my gain in 30 bucks beer:

This further proves that the BCS is no longer relevant.

USC and LSU split the national championship, as was the case three times (I think) before in history. I can still remember, as a Nebraska fan, getting very excited in 98 when we managed to get our share of the title in Tom Osborne's last year. The Huskers had to split it with Michigan.

The main problem is the two poll system. Why don't the coaches and AP both vote on the same poll? Their votes would have just as much weight as they do now in the two poll system. Human voters are certainly smarter then the BCS computers, this year is a prime example of that.

i just saw an usc national champions commercial on espn, wtf? How much belongs to usc and how much of it belongs to Lsu?
