Headphone brands?

I'm looking to buy a new headset/mic set. Has to be headset/mic set. Looking to spend under 30 but if they're good I'll go a little higher. Anyone know good brands ? I was thinking Altec set I saw at Best Buy. I have a Plantronic micset but it sucks hard.

Bestbuy + $20 = good mic/headphones that take a beating and I still have em after throwing em around and shit.

I use plantronics sp 500 right now. Before I had $20 labtec headset that worked great.

I just got a pair of Sony MDR-NC5 Noise-cancelling headphones.

No mic on them, but these things are fucking sweet. They also run $50-60 though... but they still rock rock:

i have Audio 90's and they were good for about 3 months, then the mic stopped working out of the blue....i dont know...they are really good headphones though.

i just got the new Altec Lansing set [url:d16f9]http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1055388016600&skuId=5655953&type=pr oduct&productCategoryId=cat01056&cmp=%20%20[/url:d16f9] from best buy like 2 weeks ago, they are great, great sound and comfy , they cancel quite a bit of outside noise, then again i have the volume way up and with MG fire going off close to ya, ya can't hear shit anyways, but thay are a great set

Himmler 01-29-2004 11:10 PM

i gotta pair of Sony MDR-CD360 headphones and some mic headset. Headphones cost $70, they have sweet bass and noise cancelling. Mic cost $50

Drew 01-30-2004 08:38 AM

You guys do know that I'm talking about an active noise cancelling system, right? Not just having your ears covered?
