There is an interview from www.spong.com with executive producer of all MOH games, Rick Giolito. He mentions that there are 2 more MOH games coming to the PC in 2002. The first is MOH: Team Assault where you can also play as the Russians, Italians, and British, due out in October. The other is MOH 3, due later in 2002, but my guess is early 2003. Sweet!!!

Can someone copy & paste the quote about future PC MoH titles? All I see is GameCube and X-Box MoH games and GameBoy Advanced (the heck) so where's your 'future PC MoH' thingy?

Actually, if i were 2015, i would make MoH Team Assualt more like an Unreal Tourney, Quake 3 game. Totally geared for mutliplayer.
They could just add a few more countriesand their respective weapons to the fray. Ruskies Commonwealth(for you Brits ,Nicks, and Canucks http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif) Italy Japan United States(Marine set) France(they did fight) So either add their Military(and early war map set) or resistants(viva http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif) Then just make maps lets say.....30-40 maps set in the various areas. Like Marine vs Japanese on Okinowa(sp) wont happen but hey wishful thinking ------------------ I am the cooler king |

why to people keep saying go look at these other games that are NOT World War Two games?
I have not interest in M-16s and choppers. If I did I would be playing those games. A mod made by fans is not the same thing at all. Sure I wish there was gravity in MOHAA, so that a genade fell after it hit a wall and did not bounce around the corner and roll another twenty yards. Sure I wish the sniper scope fell from the eye when you moved rather than just being a zoom view that gives some players a ridiculous advantage. But the game is still a blast. |
This is quite interesting. New MoH games would sell well.
|
Really cool. New MoH games , perhaps in new time periods , like Vietnam would be interesting yet booorish....... keep it in WW2.

Cool, they are gonna milk the game for all its worth..

Too bad the game isn't that realistic at all http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/frown.gif. Go compare to Operation Flashpoint or UT: Infiltration http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/frown.gif.

Q: What does Nintendo head office think of that?
RG: Nintendo would love to see Medal of Honour on their system, or I believe they would because it’s so popular. Its appeal might help them draw an older fanbase to GameCube, but its important to do different things per platform, not just great ports of older versions. As far as the franchise goes, we did an interesting job of portraying Americans and Germans, so we’re going to bring in other countries. The next version, Team Assault, due out in October for the PC, will include Russian, British and Italian troops, we’re going to really expand. In 2002 we will be releasing Medal of Honour 3 for PC, PlayStation 2 and hopefully GameCube. |
I just hope they take into account all the Pros/Cons that people have beening saying since the release of MOHAA.
