Canadian drivers in America.

I just got home a little bit ago...and noticed something odd on the way home...

I was following this guy with an Ontario license plate...but before I saw the plate and all that...I noticed from a distance he kept turning his high-beams on and off near the over passes and such...as if he was un sure of what was on the other side...he did this twice...so I was like..."Maybe hes just not use to driving in the dark under over passes..." HA...so, I go to pass him and he turns his high-beams on and off twice, kind of...hesitating each time...and does it again a few times, but different intervals...OMG WEIRD!p245

When you don't know the area you tend to be cautious.

canadians always have a few odd ones out. take sh for example

I use high beams on unlit streets and some parts of the freeway too. You do it in intervals to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

so true biggrin:

i like how we are allowed to turn right on a red light, isnt it illegal to do that in America?

guarnere 09-05-2004 01:48 AM

No, we are also allowed to, unless there is a sign saying not to.

We dont use road signs in canada, instead we use "patrol-moose" Who help with the street system.

Short Hand 09-05-2004 04:03 AM

I would be too impatient not to turn right on a red...we sometimes have signs saying no right on red but they are few.

Same, theres usually no right on red on 5 poinbt intersections or really busy ones, or on ones that have a parkinglot of a buisness. Maybe 1/10 are no right on red/
