Thanks Gervoi
Was fucking weird today, I was in this game shop today in my lunch break and just messed about with SW:Battlefront on a PS2 for 15 minutes and this guy starts chatting to me about it all. We got onto the topic of Half Life 2 and he told me that some distributing company wasn't going to ever release HL2 as Valve or Vivendi, etc had been hacked by some Russians meaning they couldn't get access to the game itself......or something, he just kept saying that HL2 was going to get scrapped. I was thinking to myself = oOo: but there you go. Total bollocks in my opinion, theres no way it could be cancelled. I can't wait to play it, if you think its going to be shit then you need a slap in the jaw. As the score suggests, its a fucking good game, people need to stop whinging and give it a try, no point saying its crap when you've never played it. |

[quote:a654e]"Last week we received a Half-Life 2 release candidate from Valve, and in its current state Half-Life 2 is brilliant and looks astonishing," a Vivendi spokesperson went on to talk about the current status of the game, saying: "Vivendi Universal Games is in the midst of determining whether Half-Life 2 meets the gameplay standard of the company and more importantly the devoted Half-Life fanbase." [/quote:a654e] The news story goes on to say that Vivendi are hopeful of announcing a release date to the public very soon. They also state that their own retail sources reckon a late November release date as being "highly feasable". Filthy cunts annoy: Its had 3 reviews Pc gamer 96% Pc Format 96% Pc Benelux 90% Apparently thats not enough. oOo: |
OK, after reading that review so many memories of the half-life 1 are flooding back, I remember never wanting to eat, drink or sleep whilst playing that game, I even recall doing badly at school because of playing it so much at the time, my mother even mentioned it to my English teacher at a school parents evening biggrin:
I think I need to get a new PC now, I've been kinda putting it off for a while but I need a little beast to be bought with my next paycheck..... how little can I spend to get HL2 and doom3 running nicely on a custom PC, do you think I could get a good little one for about £400? hmmm.... angel: |
